Here Vienna 1900 is not on the wall but in the room: chairs by Thonet, silver and fabrics of the Wiener Werkstätte, Josef Hoffmann’s furniture, Koloman Moser’s designs and Gustav Klimt’s cartoons for the Stoclet Frieze. We tell how a school of applied arts became a movement, what role the women of the Werkstätte played, and why coffeehouse chair No. 14 is the best-selling piece of furniture in the world. Plus Baroque cabinets, Biedermeier and the present in the Design Lab. Finish in the museum shop, one of the city’s finest.

For private tours our cancellation terms apply: up to 14 days before the tour we charge 20% of the price as a flat fee for organisation, from 14 to 7 days before 50%, after that or in case of a no-show the full amount.
