Vienna is flat, has 1,700 kilometres of cycle paths and a Ringstrasse made for two wheels. This tour follows route 1 from Martha’s book “Mit dem Rad durch Wien”: from St. Stephen’s along the Ring with the Opera, Hofburg, Parliament and City Hall, through the Prater to the Ferris wheel, back into town along the Danube Canal. Getting off the bike is encouraged, for a look into a courtyard, a church, a story behind a facade. And for a stop: an ice cream parlour or a coffeehouse is part of it. We ride on cycle paths and quiet side streets, with time to look.
We take care of the bikes: rental bikes are ready at the meeting point. If you would rather ride one of the other eleven routes from the book (Klimt and Art Nouveau, vineyards, Leopoldstadt, Alte Donau), tell us in the request.
Guide fee € 350 per group (3 hrs) plus rental bike € 15 per person, arranged by artemezzo. For two guests € 380, for four € 410, all inclusive. Your own bike is welcome.
