Stoss im Himmel is one of the shortest lanes in the city centre, right by Maria am Gestade, and its name alone is worth a story. In the goldsmith workshop there, earrings, chains and rings are made, and those who wish make them themselves: under guidance, with file, saw and soldering iron, at the bench.
It is a craft with silence: you hear the scratch of the file and notice after two hours that you have thought of nothing else. In the end everyone wears a piece of Vienna on their finger that exists only once.
