What is actually still made in Vienna? More than you think. On this tour we visit workshops that smell of leather, silver and hot sugar: the silversmiths Jarosinski & Vaugoin in the courtyard on Zieglergasse, the Werkstätte Carl Auböck with its brass objects, the Zuckerlwerkstatt on Herrengasse, Huber & Lerner with steel engraving, Scheer with bespoke shoes. The masters explain their work themselves, and the group may watch, ask, sometimes touch. Two routes to choose from: the city centre or the 7th district with its hidden courtyard workshops. Half a day, after which you hold things differently.
