R. Horn’s Wien is a leather manufactory that would have fitted Viennese modernism: bags, wallets, cases and travel accessories in vegetable-tanned leather, in plain shapes, made to be carried for a lifetime. Robert Horn founded the house in 1990; today the second generation works alongside him.
The shop on Bräunerstraße, a few steps from Scheer and Elmayer, is itself an example of Viennese restraint: wood, leather, light, nothing else. If you have seen the Wiener Werkstätte at the MAK, here you find its continuation to take home.
