Peter Altenberg had his mail delivered to the Café Central, Stefan Zweig called the coffeehouse a kind of democratic club, and to this day you may sit for two hours over a small black coffee. On this tour we visit two coffeehouses that carry this culture, taste Melange, Einspänner and Verlängerter, with apple strudel, Gugelhupf or a slice of cake, and learn the unwritten rules: how to call the waiter, why the glass of water is free, and what the difference is between a Konditorei and a Kaffeehaus. In between, a walk through the lanes where the writers lived. The longer variant adds sausages and beer in between.
All inclusive: for 4 guests € 118 per person, for 2 guests € 205. Composition: guide fee € 350 per tour (2.5 hrs) plus coffeehouse package € 30 per person for two houses (one house: € 270 plus € 17 per person).

Two from the circle of traditional houses, depending on the day and the crowds: Sperl, Prückel, Bräunerhof, Diglas or Landtmann, for example. We avoid the queue outside the Central.
In the longer variant, yes: sausages and a beer between the two coffeehouses.

For private tours our cancellation terms apply: up to 14 days before the tour we charge 20% of the price as a flat fee for organisation, from 14 to 7 days before 50%, after that or in case of a no-show the full amount. If your plans change, please let us know as early as possible and we will look for a solution together. You will find all details in our terms and conditions.
Yes, our tours take place in any weather. When it rains we adapt the programme wherever possible and gladly plan a break somewhere dry. In case of a storm we will contact you before the tour and agree together on how to proceed.
